Welcome to All That You Are
I write so that what should have never been lost would be yours again—yourself.
In my newsletter, we explore what it means to live freely, think boldly, and remember who you were before the world told you who to be.
I’m a designer, writer, coach, agrologist, forest owner, and free being who spent decades searching answers for the classics like who the hell I am, what’s my meaning, and why life is so damn hard.
All That You Are is my digital treehouse, newsletter, online magazine & coaching space where, I hope, you can relax into yourself, breathe more easily, think for yourself, and allow your insights and realisations to come to you.
I write it as a reflection on my 40+ years of stories, experiences, observations, and insights as walking into a natural state of myself.
I’m here for the natural flow that is already within us.
It started as a little girl, standing alone on a hill in Finland's taiga forest and talking to the winds. I asked them to blow wilder. As an answer, I got a glimpse of who I really am.
The transient flash was soon gone—perhaps it flew away with the wind. But it left an imprint, a remembrance I could not disregard, a curiosity to see beyond. Beyond obvious. Beyond the excuse of this is just the way it is. Beyond being a prisoner of life.
That curiosity led me to eras of solitude, inner (and outer) travels, searching, spiritual practices, long periods of struggling with anxiety, hopelessness, and depression, and shifts that changed everything in my life.
So yes, we’ll wade into waters people define as spiritual. I tried to avoid it, but here we are—unfortunately, that’s how many things I would call natural are labelled.
After decades of searching and struggling, I’m not a fan of spirituality. It certainly has its benefits and uses to open eyes to something more. There are and have been many wise teachings, and I myself have explored spiritual practices.
But, it also tends to lock people into another trap of tiresome improvement, climbing ladders, being a small human on an endless journey to some holy finish line, and never there.
It becomes a distraction to what is completely natural and already here.
Self-love, self-realisation, and a good life are highly personal experiences. Ultimately, it’s impossible to describe them.
Creating a structure, formula, or method for “getting there” is a cheap lie. The process can be weird, hilarious, arduous, frightening, laughable, liberating, but all-natural.
However, it’s possible to observe, question, and change your beliefs about life and ourselves. It’s possible to learn and unlearn. It’s possible to share stories that might widen the perspective. It’s possible to offer support, to create a space where you can relax and allow your insights and realisations to come. How you’ll express them, how they’ll reshape your life, it’s totally up to you.
Nothing outside of you defines who and what you are. It’s not about doing it right, cleaning yourself, figuring everything out, following the rules, knowing everything, or being in some stable “state”. To me, it’s about facing yourself at every level, about radical acceptance of yourself, and responsibility for your life.
Living is, and always will be, ridiculous and annoying at times. Yet, no matter what, you can relate to yourself and fall in love with this beautiful thing called life.
Occasionally, I also write about business-related topics—not hacks or tactics, but belief systems and distortions around them—because often a longing for freedom comes in the form of having your own business, doing what you love to do, in your own terms. For the last 8 years, I've worked in my Elina H/Studio, designing, branding, and strategising for thoughtful entrepreneurs and wild minds, driven by the curiosity to build bridges between the invisible and visible, ideas and reality.
